Seismic performance of fabricated reinforced concrete bridge piers based on durable grouting material

Abstract To meet the high durable requirements of assembled bridge piers in marine environment, a new grout is used sleeve to improve corrosion resistance pier bottom. The seismic performance adopting this studied. Firstly, dynamic analysis model reinforced concrete with established using finite element software ABAQUS. Moreover, damage modes, hysteresis curves, and energy consumption for low reversal cyclic loading are investigated. results indicate that failure mode precast at joints members, local does not affect integral pier.
